If you are a first time buyer on a household income of less than £60,000 a year looking to buy a new home in London , then you should head down to the FIRST STEPS London Homes Show in Westminster next week, to view a wide selection of affordable homes in London for sale .
On Saturday 18th June 2011, the FIRST STEPS London Homes Show at Queen Elizabeth II Conference Centre, Westminster, will present the opportunity for first time buyers to get onto the property ladder in London. The Mayor of London's FIRST STEPS housing programme is London's new, low cost home ownership scheme with homes available through FIRST STEPS Buy and FIRST STEPS Rent.
Organisers of the show, FIRST STEPS, make buying your own home a smooth and easy process. Launched by Boris Johnson, the scheme is a one stop service to affordable home ownership and assesses all those eligible for affordable housing whether they be key workers or households earning less than £60,000 a year.
Mayor of London Boris Johnson said: "The capital is a fantastic city to live in, but for those on lower or middle incomes, getting on to the housing ladder can be extremely tough. The London Homes Show is a great way to help many Londoners into affordable homes and, if they wish, to take the first step into home ownership."
